Terms & Conditions
The short version
You pay once. You fill in a form about where you are stuck. We read it, and you hear from us within two working days. We write you a plan, a person edits it, and we send it to you within 5 working days of receiving your completed intake.
If we do not think Unstuck is the right thing for you, we say so and refund you in full. If you change your mind before we start, you get your money back. Once the plan is written and delivered, the work is done and the fee is not refundable — and you agree to that when you ask us to begin.
About us
Unstuck is a sole proprietorship operated by Melisa Ames, trading as Unstuck, at 3916 N Potsdam Ave, Apt 2432, Sioux Falls, SD 57104, United States. You can reach us at hello@unstuck.me.uk.
What you get
Every tier includes one written reset plan, personal to what you told us: a five-section plan delivered as a print-ready PDF and a private web page, read and edited by a person before it reaches you, and yours to keep.
What differs between tiers is how much human contact comes afterwards:
- Starter — the written plan.
- Standard — the written plan, plus a personal voice note of around 15 minutes highlighting what matters most in your particular situation, delivered together with the plan.
- Premium — the written plan and the voice note, plus a live call of up to 45 minutes to walk through it (calls are not recorded), and one email check-in two weeks later.
The first draft is produced by an AI model working from Melisa’s structure and your answers; Melisa then reads and edits every line before it is sent. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
If something in your plan does not fit, reply within 7 days and tell us what is off, and we will rework it once at no charge and send it back within 3 working days of your reply.
If you asked us to wait 14 days before starting, the 5 working days run from the end of that wait. If we need to ask you something before we write, the 5 working days start again from your reply. If we cannot meet a date, we tell you before it passes and give you a new one; if the new date does not suit you, you can have a full refund.
Price and payment
Paid once, up front, through our payment processor. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
| Tier | Price |
|---|---|
| Starter | $95 USD |
| Standard | $195 USD |
| Premium | $375 USD |
All prices are in US dollars. Stripe may show you the amount in your own currency at checkout. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank may add its own fee; that is between you and your bank, and we do not receive it.
Prices may change, but the price you paid is the price for your order.
Starting work, and your right to change your mind
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EEA, you normally have 14 days from the day you pay to cancel a service bought online, without giving a reason. To cancel, email hello@unstuck.me.uk with your name and the email address you paid with; that is all it takes.
Because most people want their plan sooner than that, we ask you at checkout whether you want us to begin straight away. When you choose Yes you are agreeing to two things:
- We start work inside the 14-day period rather than waiting it out.
- Once the plan has been delivered, the service is complete and your right to cancel is gone.
Before then you can still cancel. If you cancel before we have started, you get a full refund. If you cancel after we have started but before the plan is delivered, we refund you less a fair amount for the work already done.
If you would rather not waive anything, choose No — we will simply wait 14 days and then begin.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 14 days of your cancellation or of our telling you we cannot take the work.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
When we decline the work
Before we write anything, we read what you sent to check that Unstuck is the right thing for you.
Sometimes it is not — because what you describe needs medical, therapeutic, legal or urgent support rather than a planning document. When that happens we tell you, point you somewhere more useful, and refund you in full. No argument, no partial deduction.
Either way, you hear from us within two working days of receiving your completed intake.
What Unstuck is not
Unstuck is a planning service. It is not therapy, counselling, coaching under any regulated scheme, medical advice, legal advice or financial advice, and it is not a crisis or emergency service.
Nothing we send you is a substitute for professional advice from someone qualified to give it. If you are in crisis or at risk, please contact your GP, or Samaritans on 116 123 in the UK, or 988 in the US.
What we need from you
Answer honestly and in your own words. The plan is only as good as what you tell us, and we cannot work around something you have left out.
Please do not send medical records, legal documents, or detailed information about other people. We do not need them.
You must be 18 or over to buy.
Who owns what
The plan we write for you is yours. Use it, share it, print it, act on it, ignore it.
The templates, prompts, structure and method we use to produce it remain ours. Buying a plan does not give you a licence to resell the plan, to reproduce our materials commercially, or to use what we send you to train an automated or machine-learning system.
We will not publish your situation or use it as a case study without asking you first, in writing, and you are free to say no.
What we do not promise
We do not promise a particular outcome. A plan is a considered set of suggestions from someone who has read your situation carefully; it is not a guarantee that things will improve, and acting on it is your decision.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unstuck is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions you take on the basis of the plan.
Our total liability to you for direct losses is limited to the fee you paid for the plan in question.
Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under consumer protection law, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email hello@unstuck.me.uk and say what it is. You will get a reply within two working days and a full answer within ten working days.
Governing law
Unstuck is operated from South Dakota, United States. These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of a purchase from us, are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, nothing in this section removes the protection given to you by the mandatory law of your own country. You keep your local consumer rights, and you keep the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and the terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you bought.
